最初に行なったのが音源の聴き比べです。一つは「24ビット／44.1kHz WAV」もう一つは「16ビット／44.1kHz WAV」です。両者を切り替えて比較試聴しながら楽曲に必要な要素とそうではない要素を明確化します。低域の厚み、空気感、ノイズの抜け、広がりは圧倒的に24ビットが有利でした。しかし16ビットには24ビットには存在しないガッツがあります。今回はこの要素はEQとリミッターの微調整で追い込むことにしました。
